Exhibit People at CES 2016

For over 40 years, CES has been the place where the techies of the world, both professionals and hobbyists, have gathered to present, view, and discuss the newest technologies of the day. Luckily, the show happens in Las Vegas each year, right in our backyard!

Filling both the Sands and Las Vegas Convention Centers, as well as a few other venues, the CES show is massive, and it seems to get bigger every year. This year it consisted of over 3,600 exhibiting companies-manufacturers, developers and suppliers alike- and a conference program with more than 200 conference sessions. Over 150,000 people attended this year from over 150 countries.

This year, we got some firsthand experience on some interesting products through our clients, seeing everything from innovative waterproofing solutions to a ‘game console’ for your dog, to the ever popular drones, and quite a few things in between. This year, rather than just show you our walk of the show, we decided to share with you the booths by us! Take a peek at these 6 booths by Exhibit People that were on display at CES 2016, and, as always, enjoy!

Unicorn Tire: Bigger and Better Than Ever

Unicorn Tire steps it up at this year’s 2015 SEMA Show with an eye catching new 40×50 rental booth design from Exhibit People. Our friends at Unicorn wanted this year to be different than last. They wanted an impressive overhead presence, and we delivered a massive 38 foot billboard, 22 feet above the show floor. Unicorn also wanted a design with privacy, but an open inviting feel once you enter beyond the reception area.

In the end, this design came together nicely. A large coffee bar created an excellent mingling space for Unicorn and their guests, with a measure of privacy. Two large meeting rooms also allowed Michael and his team to hold important meetings. Overall, guests could browse products, catch up with old friends, and even talk business in a booth that couldn’t be missed if you were in the south hall of the World’s Largest Automotive Aftermarket show.

We’re Exhibit People, and we specialize in giving custom, tailored rental booths at the right price. Give us a call if you’d like to explore what we can do for you.

IWCE 2015

The International Wireless Communications Show Wrapped up last week, and with a little over 350 exhibitors and almost 7,000 technology buyers attending, this show seemed a little smaller than the ones that we’re used to. However, with attendees consisting of a small but diverse group of industry professionals, from backgrounds in government, military; public safety, utility; transportation and business enterprise, it’s not surprising to see that this is a small but tight-knit group of professionals and an impressive show.

Since 1977, the IWCE has been the biggest annual event for communications technology professionals. Each year we get to see the latest in communications technology, from basic improvements to the common walkie-talkie, to global communication solutions for military and humanitarian agencies. Everything is there: programs, hardware, new inventions, and improvements to old ones; if it has to do with sending information wirelessly, it’s there! It is, in their own words, “the one time of year where everything is together in one place for your chance to connect with peers, see the newest products and services, and to attend educational sessions taught by industry leaders on the latest topics.” Whether you are involved in the industry or just checking it out, the show is an interesting one to walk!

We’re Exhibit People. We’re based in Las Vegas and we specialize in smart, high impact, custom trade show rental displays. These are just a few of the booths that caught our eye this year at IWCE 2015 as we walked the show floor looking for the best looking exhibit designs and fresh new design elements. SHOT Show 2015

If you’re a fan of guns, an avid outdoorsman, or an officer of law enforcement, SHOT Show is a dream come true. The Shooting, Hunting and Outdoors Trade Show (SHOT Show) is the best place each year to get a glimpse of the up and coming weapons, survival gear, and technology not only for law enforcement and military officials, but recreational shooters as well.

SHOT Show ran from January 20-23 this year, and as always it was packed, with both exhibitors and attendees. Just like every year, there was plenty to see. There was everything from your standard hunting knives, handguns, and bulletproof vests, to crazy products like a mutli-tool bracelet or a soda can launcher intended to turn your potential beverage into target practice. To many onlookers, the gun and weapons tech industry may seem relatively one dimensional, but walking the show, it was plain to see that this industry is as diverse and alive as any.

CES 2015

The Consumer Electronics Show, or CES, was bigger and better than ever this year! With more than 2.2 million net square feet of exhibit space and 3,600 exhibitors, CES 2015 was the largest show in history. This was evident even as we walked the show; we observed a noticeable increase in mid-size booths as opposed to the abundance of smaller, inline booths in past years. We also noticed an overall increase in the presence of international companies, especially those from Asian countries. Many companies from outside the US occupied spaces in AND outside of pavilion booths, showing us that they are a major component in the global tech industry, both as manufacturers and consumers. CES is clearly one of the most multicultural and international shows in the US.

With such a large, diverse collection of exhibitors, we were bound to see the latest, greatest technology, and with the latest advances in automotive electronics, personalized health care solutions, unmanned vehicles, connected devices, 3D printers, and just about anything you can think of on display, CES was truly an amazing show to see. What caught our eye was the surprising number of drone, action video cameras and home automation companies on the show floor: major trends that appear to be holding strong and growing. It was also very clear to us that the major companies that produce TVs were doing more to differentiate their products from their competitors: picture quality from Sony, viewing angle from LG, screen brightness from Samsung, and even a cheaper price from newer, international brands hungry for market share. As is the case every year, walking the show was a great opportunity to get a glimpse of the technology of the future and see what new things we can apply not only to our everyday lives, but to our business here at Exhibit People.
